I hate to bury any restaurant or business. This place is no exception as his has some redeeming qualities, just above 2 star. I stopped in here as I was in the neighborhood , and it popped up on a quick search. It had a great review that was somewhat old. I called to help find it, and found it was a Spanish only place. A plus to me as I do speak it and it increases the likelihood its authentic Mexican. Not good for many of the locals though I would think. Once I found the place I was disappointed the restaurant area was for the most part closed. I had called ahead but was given bad info about close times. The gal working the front, who was also the one who gave me the bad information, was somewhat rude about the situation. The place was nice enough, the other half being a small market. Claustrophobic for sure, with things stacked quite high with small isles. I will stop back sometime I'm in the hood and reconsider the place, but in general for dinner I don;t think this is the best option in the area

Was referred by a friend, and I can say some of the best authentic Mexican I've ever had. I know good authentic Mexican food, and this place lives to the expectations. Their ingredients are fresh and delicious. The tacos and tamales are amazing. This has become my new authentic spot. You know it's good when you see it full of native Mexican people. This is the real deal! Excellent prices. Service was ok, but the food made up for it! Big menu with tons of options!

Good place for take out, super authentic mexican food. They've got tacos, tortas etc, all reasonably priced. I've never had a problem with service, we always call ahead and order, the food is ready in 15 mins.

If you looking for fancy place this is not for you. But this place has excellent food with very reasonable price. I had the pork in green spice sauce with beans and rice and it was very good !

The atmosphere, food & service are as authentic Mexican as you're going to find. Simple, delicious yumminess is a quaint little resaurant attached to a Mexican market; complete with Mexican style pastries & accessories. Love it!
